Search Marketing Trainer

Training Experience

It's not just about managing search for me, it's also about teaching people about search. I end most client engagements with a training/transition plan that is meant to assist clients with taking search in house appropriately. I don't believe in set it and forget it. Search campaigns are like children - they need to be watched all the time.

In terms of "official" training experience, I've written an entire training module for SEMPO's Advanced PPC Training course. No really, I have. I spoke at SES New York in 2007. I've been a guest speaker at Marist College and presented alongside Dana Todd at a Hired Guns training event. I've also worked on projects exclusively meant to train companies how to launch and manage search (as opposed to hiring someone else to do that for them). In the interest of client confidentiality, I will refrain from using specific company names.
